Join in the fun as we chug along in the train, ride in the car, and float in a boat! Things that move and move us are so much fun and naturally interesting for children because they are movers, too! There are a lot of musical concepts to explore when we GO GO GO. Experience the challenge of start and stop games, the fun of tempo changes, climbing up and falling down, riding smoothly, bouncing bumpily (yes, that is a word!), and everything in between.
Our pets--dogs, cats, birds, horses, and goldfish--bring love and laughter into our lives. In Pet Parade, we imaginatively invite them into our classroom to provide an opportunity for learning, too. When we gallop like a horse, scamper like a mouse, move our hands like a fish, or use a scarf to fly like a bird, we are making multiple connections in young brains: vocabulary, recall, large motor skills, imagination, and so much more. Inviting the children to share their experiences with family pets or their imagined relationships with animals helps us to deepen our connection with children and families.
